When I started the Market Perspective in 2016, I featured three maps. They were all red/blue
the Civil War, the Red Blue states, and the Right to Work Map. They are all the same. granted the Civil War did not include the Territories west of the Mississippi. but east of the river today all the same.
The former Democrat solid south is now solid Republican. It is also solid right to work. It is also the former Confederacy. The North is union shop and anti-Trump.

Here is the Webster definition. I don't know where we cross the line but this is the case in states and cities opposing Trump. Video of fights, scuffles, violence abound. We have attempts on the lives of Trump and Justice Kavanaugh. The Federal Government is shut down. Both sides swear no compromise. States are suing Trump over attempts to send in the National Guard. Combs sentenced to 50 months.
Understand this is NOT a poitical blog, just real observation.
People buy stocks and embrace one another (inclusive) during positive mood. The opposite happens during negative mood. Horror movies are on the rise, dramatically. All these are clues as to where we are headed.
