The scen is Clasablanca Morocco, the Germans have over run the city and have installed a puppet government the Vichy French, Captain Renault is the regrettable head of this so called government.
The French patriots sing the French national anthem, the German colonel insists Renault shut Rick's Cafe down, but why says Renault, find a reason, his reason is gambling, but the croupier brings Capt Renault his winnings to which he says thank you,
it is the zenith of hypocrisy
