The first Star War movie was the fourth in a 9 part series that George Lucas envisioned.
Lucas wanted to reduce the concept of religion to its most elemental form, he called it The Force.
The Force could lead one to good, ObiWan Kenobi or evil, Darth Vader.
This same sort of idea is expressed by Ralph Emerson in Self Reliance, trust yourself, imitation is suicide.
Arnold warns that you must have a goal. Denzell cautions you will fail but fall forward.
In the fifth series Luke Skywalker is sent to become a Jedi Knight under the tutelage of Yoda, a wise Jedi Master.
