Hello Professors,
I wanted to send an updated copy of our student event handout. A misspelling was recently brought to my attention, and it has now been corrected. Please use this updated version when sharing the event with your students.
I also want to ask once again for your help in encouraging students to attend our Finance & Accounting Career Pathways event on Friday, September 25.
TXCPA San Antonio is investing approximately $5,000 in this event because we believe in creating opportunities for students to connect with the accounting profession. We want as many students as possible to benefit from it!
Students will have the opportunity to meet local accounting firms, other professional businesses, UWorld, and Becker while making valuable connections for their future.
We need students there! If possible, please:
- Share the updated handout with your accounting students
- Encourage them to register and attend
- Consider offering extra credit for attending
- Remind them that showing up and making that first connection is often the hardest part!
We truly appreciate your help in getting students through the door. The professionals participating are giving their time because they want to support and encourage the next generation of accounting professionals.
