Lane Kiffin quite Ole Miss before season ends, signing #13 M per year contra t with LSU 

LSU is already paying two former coaches not to coach. One is due $800 K a month for six year which is  800 x 12 x 6 = $57,600,000.  Just how much money does LSU really clear after paying salaries and remaining contracts?

Kiffin asked to coach the Ole Miss team, ranked # 7 nationally, after signing with LSU. Ole Miss said no way promoting another coach to the Head coach position. 

I make this post in the realm of ethics.  Kiffin had coached at Ole Miss for six years but  

Kiffin was making $ 9 M a year at Ole Miss.  It is not clear if Ole Miss offered to match the LSU offer.

Okay a $4 M raise is real money but worth leaving your team after six years?  I think not. Were I Ole Miss I would tell him to hit the road which is what they did.
